The Dead Linger Alpha Review

The Dead Linger is a PC only zombie survival game, it is in early alpha but it is still pretty fun. In The Dead Linger you have to try and survive from hordes of the undead that currently all look the same as I said though early alpha. You can scavenge through houses, office buildings, and now grocery markets to find food and weapons. One thing I really like about the game is that you can put defenses and other things on your house or building that your in such as boarding up windows or putting a couch in front of the door. They recently added a crafting system where you can create wood fires to warm up at night and now you can also craft defenses like wooden boards and planks, you need to obtain wood to make all these though and you can get wood off of trees by chopping them down with an ax or hatchet.You also need matches to light the fire. Ammo and weapons are not that hard to find same with food. The multiplayer is alright if you have a friend to play it with but it can be laggy. The game also now has animals such as zombie dogs and wild deer, you can hunt the deer for food but the dogs are just annoying. In the next few updates we're expecting to see a bicycle, female zombies/female playable character, and hopefully better graphics and less lag. Overall the game has problems because its in alpha but it has great potential I recommend checking it out on steam or on there website www.thedeadlinger.com to see how the updates are progressing.
