Rust Alpha Review
So do you enjoy hardcore MMO's (yeah), do you enjoy Minecraft (yeah), Do you enjoy naked men killing each other with rocks (wait... what). Rust is an epic MMO where you have to survive the elements of nature and other players. Rust is not all about naked men, its about survival of the fittest. In Rust you can join servers of lots of people, few people, or no people it is a game just like dayZ, which I don't like because usually you get killed within five minutes if you join a large server. I enjoy Rust very much because I join empty servers to make it feel like a single player game and also I don't get killed in minutes so I build an awesomely huge house where I can craft weapons tools and other things to improve my chance of survival. Humans aren't the only dangerous things there are bears, wolves, and there used to be zombies but now they're mutants. If you want to build better weapons and other things you have to find blue prints which can be found in pre-built structures and off of dead mutants or other players if you can kill one. Something interesting I thought about the game was that it was kind of like hunger games, you're in a large island you can't escape you're always in danger and every once in a while an airdrop comes in where if your lucky enough to get to it without being killed you can get some good stuff. I got really involved on a server but then they updated the game and I lost the server so I got pretty mad about that. I don't exactly think the game is worth the money while its in alpha and it will certainly be pretty amazing once its finished. Also its made by Garry Newman so it will definitely get finished. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think of Rust Alpha.

Zoo Tycoon Review
Zoo Tycoon was the second game I got for my Xbox One and I thought it was awesome at first but then I realized it was nothing special. The original Zoo Tycoon games were much better they were made by Microsoft Studios and Blue Fang Games, the new one was made by Microsoft Studios and a new company called Frontier and no they are not the frontier everybody knows about though. Frontier is a new video game company I believe and I think they're the ones who brought it to console in the first place, which they did not do very well. Unlike all the other Zoo Tycoon games this one is sort of lacking the feel of customization which it needed to be a Tycoon game, for example: sidewalks are automatically placed when making a new exhibit and you cannot place trees, rocks, or water into your exhibit all you get is a default created exhibit. Another thing the game lacks is animals, in the old Zoo Tycoons there were many different kinds of animals to choose from in the new one there are categories of specific animals and when you press on them all you get is different kinds of that animal. There are many animals they are missing that I would have loved to have seen which are wolves, crocodiles, and ostriches which were three of the main animals in the original games. The game is not all bad though it does have something that I really liked and that is the mini exhibits where you can place small animals like birds, reptiles, and other small things ( That was really cool because I always wanted to have snakes in the original one). The game contains three game modes which are challenge, campaign, and free play. The challenge is basically free play just you have to actually make money. Campaign you play through missions that unlock new areas on the map to play free play, new scenarios, and even a golden statue. In free play you have unlimited money to build whatever you want. There is one major problem that made me stop playing this game and that is that there's a zoo limit, unlike the old ones where you could fill up the map you were on, in this one there is seriously a structure limit which is a huge mistake because don't you think that on the most advanced gaming console in the world you shouldn't have to worry about that. So overall this game is alright but not worth the 50 dollars I spent on it. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think of this game.
Did you know that Nvidia has a game system? I just found out.
I just found out a few weeks ago that Nvidia has a game system. Its called the Nvidia Shield and it looks good. It has one of the most powerful mobile processors around, the tegra 4 and it has 2gb of ram. The Shield also has a 720p display which is perfect for movies or high quality games. The interesting part is that the system has a sort of built in controller. The buttons can be mapped for any game that supports it. It runs on androids Jelly Bean operating system. Android wasn't always taken seriously as a good alternative to other tablets, but it has gained a lot of popularity over the years and lots of game developers have chosen to release their games for it.Some big ones on my list include Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Dead Trigger 2, and Anomaly 2. The main reason that I want this machine though, is because it can actually stream pc games in 720p or 1080p and you can play them anywhere. To do this you need a fairly decent gaming computer with an Nvidia 600 or 700 series graphics card. You also need a pretty good router that supports game streaming. You can find a list of game stream ready routers here or if a new router isn't in the budget I found a spreadsheet about compatible routers here. I did not make the spreadsheet, so if you don't find what you are looking for I cant help that much.

Dans Plasma Defender New Vegas Mod Review
Dans Plasma Defender was made by one of the writers on this website, Dan Couture ( aka justthathacker on the nexus). The mod is good for a rookie mod creator. All it really is, is a very overpowered plasma defender that can be found in the Mormon Fort in Freeside, it is on the second floor of the tower. You can find this mod on the fallout nexus. Please download it we need all the support we can get and trust me there are many more mods from him and I on the way. Thank You.
Ryse Son Of Rome Review
Ryse Son Of Rome was the first game I ever played for my Xbox One and probably my favorite in the way of graphics at least. Ryse Son Of Rome was an Xbox One launch game, it was made by Microsoft Studios. The graphics of Ryse Son Of Rome are the best graphics I have ever seen on a console. The story of the game was actually quite interesting it was told by a series of flashbacks of the roman general Marius Titus. The game sadly was not all great, I hope you are not looking for it to be educational in a way because it is not, the people down at Microsoft could not get their facts straight. For example they showed that one of emperor Nero's sons was Commodus and that is in fact untrue. I was also somewhat dissapointed with some missions, most of them you fought solo but occasionally you would get some guys that died in one hit which I was very strange because I was hoping to fight in massive battles, considering that it was a new game on probably the most high tech gaming console in the world. The game can be a little bit buggy but it is rare that that will happen. The game actually did include a multiplayer feature which is the arena mode where you can kill barbarians and do other things it tells you to do with a friend or random person of the internet but it is difficult to find a game. So overall the game is very good for a "hack and slash" but has its problems I recommend that you get this game when it is about 20-30 dollars its not exactly worth 60. Please leave a comment and tell me what you thought of the game.
A heartbroken X-series fan
I am very upset to hear about X3 Rebirth's status. I was going to buy the game the day it came out and have another great X experience. The reviews say otherwise. I wont be buying this game for a while. Apparently its glitchy, has bad performance even on some of the best machines around, and is simply too dumbed down. What people expected was another complex space simulator with a full economy that actually works. I quote from the steam user "kraed sandwich" because he had the most helpful review. He said "More than 99% of ships (this is not an exaggeration) circle around stations in an endless loop, all caught up in a slow moving pointless traffic jam. They aren't going anywhere, have no goals and just keep doing this loop forever. The other ~1% seem to spawn next to stations then despawn when they are leaving them, never actually travelling to/from anywhere." I dont know about you, but I am not very happy to hear this about a game that is supposed to feature a "fully simulated economy". In the end I dont think their frequent updating is going to matter because its not the bugs that make this game suck, its the game mechanics that were supposed to be in the game from the beginning that make this game suck. If i'm this disappointed and dont even have the game, then I cant imagine how they feel about all this at Egosoft. I hope the next game is better, if Egosoft lives to create that.
A first step into modding Fallout New Vegas
I decided that I wanted to try modding a while ago, but it looked way to complicated so I gave up. I decided to come back to it after watching a number of youtube videos on the subject. Its not as hard as it looks, especially if you just want to edit existing models already in the game. You can have a lot of fun with just tweaking some stats in the GECK. Thats just what I did to start. You can see my mod here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54892/?.
